Would you like to find out more about where Westbury honey bees live and work?
Are you interested in getting a closer insight into their busy bee lives?
WHEN:
We are running apiary tours on the first and last Sundays of May, June, July and August in 2024. The first tour will be on Sunday the 5th of May.
Bee suits are provided, but you need to bring rubber boots and protective gloves (like Marigold’ type gloves)
ABOUT THE TOUR:
Westbury Arts Centre is working with the Bee expert Mike Bensley and Westbury Bee Group to offer an opportunity to tour around the apiary to understand what a working hive is like, and to offer a glimpse into a daily life of beekeeping.
The tour lasts for 90 minutes and we end the session with tea, coffee and Q&A.
